About the Author

This work was first created as private instruction,

by a heartbroken girl, in order to assist her in her
own personal devastation of repeated losses.
After yet another brutal breakup, she was unable to
cope. Even though friends and family did their
best to help her, months later she still found herself
crying at the supermarket. After everything she
had already put her loved ones through, she
couldn't bear to be the cause of repeated eye rolls and
cringed at the thought of being merely tolerated.
Although she sought outside assistance through the
advice of doctors, self-help, and guide books, she
was still unable to find what she needed. Resolved
to instruct herself, she created her own working
tool with surprising results. Within one month she
realized she was already beginning to feel better.
So much so in fact, her friends and family began to
inquire.
Upon revealing her secret with them, she found it
had more value than just a loving gentle nudge for
herself, so she began to share it. The response was
astounding. After it began to reach the outer
circles of people she knew, she realized her little
unassuming invention would possibly help so
many others.

Now proudly coined "The Feel Good Hand Holder for the Broken Heart", it has a proven track record of assistance exceeding expectation beyond the work's initial intention. The result may be due to Ruby's personal approach and dialogue with the reader. Her voice comes close to the reader clear and true. Therapists are now using this work as a companion to assist their clients in their painful struggles with loss and adjustment.
